a freelance designer helping brands connect with clarity and purpose /

Hi, I'm Kris Sieber /

My life in design started with post-secondary graphic design studies in the early 90s. Following college, I enjoyed  stints as a print and display designer, creative director, and later, a ‘creative free agent’/freelance designer. In 2014, I opened Medallist Design, a design agency with the ambition to focus on sport and recreation organizations and entities.

Though my client list diversified out of the sports niche in the decade that followed, I’ve continued to work with a number of clients — from startups to multi-nationals — who continue to top the podium in their respective fields.

Away from the studio, much of my time is spent with my family, cycling, reading sci-fi, and in an active role in static scale aviation modelling as a commission builder, author, and speaker, and book sales.
